Buying British

We'll be finding out very soon if Kraft will increase their derisory offer on Cadbury's. To my mind Cadbury's like the few remaining British company's is worth more than Kraft are offering.
Rumours that ‘International Power’ could be next on the shopping list, possibly from Suez Energy International of France – after years of investing in new power stations throughout the world, International Power has got to be worth much more than the £3.22 they are today, though they have increased quite a bit in recent months.
For the moment though British stalwarts Rolls Royce and Johnson Mathey are still British.
Remember as 2008 has shown, shares and other financial assets can go up and down at frightening speed. Don't buy any, unless you know what you are doing and can afford to lose the money.
